Gumotex Solar
Upgraded with a great look, the Gumotex Solar still has the length and performance to take you where you want to go and comes with 2 comfortable seats as standard. This is great as the majority of people paddled the Solar in the 2 seat configuration as it gave 2 adult plenty of leg room to stretch out and paddle in comfort. There are still attachment points at the centre of this kayak so that if you need to you can fit a third seat for when taking a child out with you or if you just want to paddle the Solar solo it gives you a great position to trim the boat for optimum 1 person paddling. Another great innovation for the new Solar is the option to change the seats to the Drop Stitch featured in the Thaya. These seats have a higher backrest and separate seat pad and backrest air chambers so you can inflate both to the same or different pressures depending upon your desired comfort preference. Being drop stitch they give greater support than the standard seats as well. (See Recommended Kit Tab)
The original Solar 3 was a very popular inflatable canoe with a whole variety of paddlers and in its' upgraded guise the Solar is certain to be here for many years to come.
