| Canoe Shops Group Demo Day This is the ideal opportunity for anyone looking to try out different Kayaks, Canoes, & Sit-On-Tops before you buy. We will have a comprehensive fleet of Open Canoes, Sit-On-Tops, Touring Kayaks and Inflatables. Siblyback lake is the ideal sheltered venue to try out different kayaks & canoes on the Lake. All participants will have full access to our demo fleet, with changing rooms and shower facilities at the watersports centre. Expert advice will be on hand including on-the-water instructors and safety boat with crew on stand-by. This is a completely ‘FREE’ event, the only charge will be a small ‘SW Lakes Trust’ car-parking fee (£3 per all-day). Location: Siblyback lake & Watersports Centre, Bodmin Moor, Near Liskeard, PL14 6ER Date & Time: Saturday - 4th May 2013 10.00am to 2.00pm Sunday - 5th May 2013 10.00am to 2.00pm Facilities: All participants will have access to the watersports centre facilities including changing rooms and showers. There is also a cafe on site. All equipment will be provided, but participants must bring suitable clothing and footwear – ideally a wetsuit and beach shoes. There will be instructors on the water at all times and safety boat with crew standing by. All participants will be required to sign in and off of the water. There is a large car-park on site (small fee payable, Max £3 all day) Sit On Top kayaks, Day Touring Kayaks, Touring Kayaks, Fishing Kayaks, & Hobie Kayaks will all be available. If you are looking at trying a specific kayak or canoe please contact us in advance so we can allocate a space for you.
