| Perception Essence 16 & 17 Expedition The Perception Essence Expedition Sea Touring Kayak is design and built in the UK. By integrating the latest design technology it allows you to take your sea kayaking experiences to new levels. Available in two sizes, the Perception Essence 17 has a touch more length and is ideal for the average to larger paddler. The Perception Essence 16 Expedition is the smaller of the two and is ideal if your paddling style suits a slightly livelier and more nimble ride. Snugger ergonomics allow for close control and also gives a good fit for the smaller paddler. Due to the Perception Essence Expedition's advanced hull design it is solid at tracking yet still manoeuvrable. A strong V shaped bow and stern gives true directional stability and the defined chines further enhance control for smooth and predictable turns. There is also good secondary stability due to the low profile under the cockpit. Fitted as standard is a multi position retractable skeg or as an optional extra a rudder system can be fitted. |
