The Pack 12.6 is one of the lightest Pack boats in the Swift Canoes range. The 12.6 is very straight keeled in the back of the boat with a little rocker in the bow of the boat, giving a stable and super comfortable on the water feel. Suiting a small to average sized paddler who wants a brilliant day paddling with the capacity to take enough gear for a long weekend treks if required. A slight tumble home to the top of the boat allows you to feel like the water is close enough for an easy kayak paddle stroke, taking away the feeling of reaching to get to the water or having a really high pack boat seating position. It really is a superb user friendly Pack boat that will see a smile on your face whenever you pop it in the water.

The Pack 12.6 is brilliantly equipt, starting with the standard Cherry Wood interior finish that Swift Canoes put with all their pack boats. The high backed seating system that is used in a Swift Canoes pack boat is designed for ultimate comfort while out on the water paddling. Using a specifically shaped carbon seat base made in house by Swift after years of design and it really pays off, fitting a range or posteriors. The comfort in being able to sit in the Pack 12.6 for hours without trouble comes from the padding, inch thick foam produced by the medical industry to enhance blood flow giving hassle free Pack boat paddling. Allowing the backrest strap to flow through the backrest enables the backrest to travel with the bodies rotation created by your paddle stroke. The backrest also has the brilliant feature of the a velcro adjustable lumbar support allowing for adjustment up and down. Created from a super plyable and soft foam that allows water to drain right through it, the ripstop nylon over material is fantastically comfortable against your back. Slide lock foot pegs enable a simple and easy adjustment for the best comfort that can be done on the water with no problems.

It offers the best strength to weight ratio of any laminate canoe material. Kevlar Fusion Pack Boats are made with a urethane resin system for top durability and longevity along with a thin layer of exterior gel coat. The hull is constructed of an exterior layer of polyester as well as S-Glass and kevlar cloth layers sandwiching a durable foam cored ribbing system. The laminate fused together with a high impact and flexible urethane acrylate resin system injected during high pressure infusion process produces an optimal dispersion and laminate consistency. Based on a laminate material construction Kevlar Fusion is a popular material as it offers great abrasion and impact resistance. These canoes can be finished in some wonderful colours giving them a real vibrant exterior look especially with a 2 tone hull colour scheme.

With an Pack Boat made off a superbly lightweight Kevlar Fusion laminate, a trim level that looks as good and is also keeps that lightness as well as still remaining tough is key. The Carbon Kevlar Trim not only makes a Swift Canoes pack 12.6 one of the lightest Pack Boats both on the market and in the Swift Canoes range, but also using their unique manufacture process enables them to infuse the boats hull and foam filled gunwales as one part by making a bond between the hull and trim. This stunning looking Carbon Kevlar trim is maintenance free meaning this easy to move both on and off the water.
