Thule Foothill
Thule Tepui Foothill is a 2 person rooftent with a compact design to allow for either a bike rack, kayak carrier, other cargo storage solution, surfboard, sup etc on the other side of your roof bars. When folded down the Foothill roof tent has a width of just 61cm, this is around half the footprint of a normal roof tent box. Even with this compact folded size when the Foothill is deployed there is as much internal space as a regular 2 person rooftent. This makes it ideal for people wanting to explore the outdoors and take their bike, kayak, sup, surfboard etc with them.
Set up is quick and easy by simply removing the protective transport cover, delopying the ladder to use as a lever to almost weightlessly open the Foothill tent box base. Then after fully deploying the ladder climb inside the Foothill and extend the supporting struts in to place, this gives the rooftent its shape and structure. All that is left to do following this is to pop the support pole in for the weather cover (if required). Roll the protective transport cover to its sotrage position under the roof tent base and enjoy the roof top view. This whole set up should take less time than setting up a conventional floor tent.
Inside the Thule Tepui Foothill with the window open it feels light and airy with plenty of space for 2 people to sleep. During the good weather when the weather cover is not required you can make the most of the beautiful oversized skylights, ideal for some star gazing. Internal storage pockets and attachement points giving plenty of space. The wide entry makes getting in an out of this roof tent easier than others. A low profile plush 4cm foam matress should keep everyone happy during a good nights sleep.
When folded back up the Tepui Foothill roof tent has a sleek design meaning it only sits 24cm above your roofbars. This gives a far better aerodynamic profile and allows for easier storage taking up less space in the garage when not in use.
