Slalom Inspired Paddle With Stiff Buoyant Blades

The VE Aircore Flyte paddles are a stiff, lightweight and buoyant Whitewater paddle perfect for those who paddle fast flowing rivers, or enjoy playing in the surf. The slalom inspired blades reward a forward paddle stroke with an aggressive catch which provides immediate and precise power, ideal when breaking out of tricky eddies or getting up to speed to catch that wave.

The blades are constructed using 100% carbon fibre which is heat compressed and pre impregnated with resin, this ensures the entirety of the fibres are saturated for maximum durability whilst keeping resin volume low for a much lighter blade. To the middle of the blade is VE's Aircore spine, this increases overall blade stiffness and durability whilst also reducing the weight in comparison to a foam cored blade which has allowed VE to pack in even more reinforcing fibres.

Available with either a carbon straight shaft or carbon cranked shaft which are very stiff and efficiently put your power into the water. The carbon straight shaft is ground and waxed to feel comfortable in the hand and is ovalised allowing you to feel when the blades are in the ideal position. The carbon cranked shaft helps to align your wrists, elbows and shoulders into a more natural and neutral ergonomic position, ideal for reducing stresses and strains. This crank also provides accurate indexing to keep the blades facing where you want them to.
