A Mid Sized Adjustable Split Touring Kayak Paddle

The VE Glass Fara is a lightweight split 2 part touring paddle with a mid-sized blade at a mid-high stroke angle. This touring paddle is suited to longer days touring as well as for coastal play kayaking. Fitted with an adjustable and corrosion free nylon Ferrule system which allows the Fara 10cm of length adjustment as well as a full range of angle adjustment. The angle adjustment is clearly displayed in increments from 0 to 90 degrees for both left and right handed paddlers.

VE made the Fara using their Touring-lite construction to reduce as much paddler fatigue on long tours as possible. They have achieved this by thinning out the normally stepped tip, which significantly reduces the paddles weight. With this reduced over all paddle weight, VE use the same construction throughout their paddle range, with toughened resin pre-impregnated materials, keeping the essential strength, rigidity and durability. Dye-sublimated glass blades contain a polyester layer which not only give a great look to the blades but also act like an armouring layer for the Fara's durability.

Available as standard with a full carbon 2-piece straight shaft which has been waxed for a grippy yet smooth feel.

When storing your 2-piece VE paddle it is recommended to keep the ferrule in its open position. This stops constant stress being applied to the ferrule itself, significantly increasing the serviceable life of this part.
