Slalom Inspired Whitewater Paddle

The VE Glass Flyte is a lightweight and stiff Whitewater kayaking paddle that has taken design inspiration from Slalom kayak paddles. With mid to high angle blades which reward early stroke placement, its aggressive catch provides immediate power perfect for breaking out into fast flowing currents, hitting technical downriver moves and surfing.

The blades are constructed using heat compressed glass fibres which are pre-impregnated with resin, this ensures a stiff and durable blade whilst keeping excess resin to a minimum, helping keep the weight down. The blades reduced overall swing weight reduces paddler strain over long distances, keeping you comfortable on those long days out on the water.

A highly durable glass shaft continues to keep the weight down and is comfortable to hold in the hand thanks to its ground and waxed finish. The shaft is even ovalised in hand placement areas, allowing paddlers to feel the direction of the blades when holding the paddle.

Available as standard with a 45 degree blade angle and lengths of 194, 197, or 200cm there are also many custom options available including custom blade angle, custom length, carbon straight or cranked shafts.
