Full Size Whitewater Paddle With Offset Blades

The Werner Surge is a high quality whitewater paddle with powerful full sized blades, perfect for paddlers who want to make the most out of each paddle stroke. With Werner's bomber reliability these paddles keep up with the wear and tear of regular whitewater use.

The full sized asymmetric blades are offset slightly from the paddle shaft to increase the time the blades are vertical and providing the most power and control.  A reinforced blade spine increases blade manoeuvrability, perfect when liking technical stokes, with a dihedral shape to reduce flutter, ideal when taking an important powerstroke or boofing a drop.

Available with a straight fibreglass or carbon neutral bent shaft, the neutral bent shaft is designed to ergonomically align the paddlers wrists, elbows and shoulders in a more natural and comfortable paddling position to reduce joint strain when paddling.
