The Riot Nomad 16.8T is a superb, durable tandem touring kayak that features 2 individual cockpits. These dual cockpits allow the paddlers to stay protected when paddling all year round as well as to use a spray deck each ensuring each paddler feels comfortable with their spray deck construction choice. Constructed from durable roto-moulded plastic the Nomad 16.8T is ideal for daily paddling, but also stands up to the heavy use from commercial operators and hire centres. 

Thanks to the 16ft 8" length the Riot Nomad 16.8T is an efficient tandem touring kayak with the ability to cruise flat waters and calm coastal areas. The sharp bow cuts through the water making light work of mild chop, the flatter central section of the hull gives stability whilst the fine stern keeps the straight line tracking on point. A well sized rudder makes turning and keeping on course easier, especially if the conditions change mid paddle, this rudder system can be deployed and retracted from the rear seating position. The foot controls allow steering from the rear seating area and run in conjunction with the adjustable foot rests. 

To keep all paddlers comfortable on the water Riot have installed the Flex 4 seating system in the Nomad 16.8T. This has a backrest featuring both recline angle and height adjustment to ensure paddlers can achieve the support they require, the with recline angle being easy to adjust whilst on the water from the pull cord to the front of the cockpit. The seat base has a leg lifter adjustment working from an adjustable pull cord and jamming cleat. Both the backrest and seat base have the drytech mesh which allows for water to bead and run off the seat as well as drain through the foam thanks to the perforated foam, this perforated foam also doubles up as a breathable fabric cooling and reducing sweating on those warmer days. For paddlers wanting to really achieve the best locked-in feeling, the seating system along with the padded built in cockpit rim thigh braces and adjustable footrests make this easy, but for those wanting more of a relaxed, loose fit they can also feel comfortable too.

A large front storage hatch and oval rear storage hatch offer ample places for drybags or a trolley and each has a bulkhead for added security. Deck bungees with deck lines in front of each paddler offer extra on deck storage space for anything paddler might want closer to hand. Front & Rear toggle carry handles make for 2 person lifting and loading easier.
