The front of the cockpit has also been designed as a multi function area with a large circle tray and 2 cup holders either side. To the front side of the cockpit Venture have put a very useful paddle park allowing for your paddle to be safe when either resting or getting in and out of the kayak. The Fit4 outfitting comes as standard with a well padded seat base and padded backrest that is adjustable with a simple rope and cleat style adjustment system, this ensures paddlers can get a comfortable fit for a day paddling on the water. Adjustable thigh braces ensure even with the larger cockpit you are still able to get a super lock into the Islay Cruiser.

The hull shape of the Islay Cruiser is a well thought out design with a fine entry and exit line to ensure for great tracking, along with a flatter mid section of the hull for that confidence inspiring stability. Ideal for use on flat fresh waters touring around lakes, rivers, lochs and broads thanks to the efficient hull profile and the slight flare to the bow of the kayak also allows any choppier waters to be dispersed back down keeping the paddler drier.
