A Handle To Help Get In & Out Of Canoes

The Swift Canoes Carbon Assist Bar is a Lightweight Carbon Fibre handle, It has been designed by Swift Canoes to attach to a Thwart or piece of woodwork in front of the paddler and aid them standing up or sitting down in their Canoe or Pack Boat.

This assist bar handle can either be fixed using self taper screws or can be removable from its position by attaching/detaching the 2 push pin fixings. It is the ideal support for those who struggle to get up and down easily in an open canoe or pack boat.

This assist bar can also be used as an attachment mounting point for accessories as it is a similar diameter to a bike handle bar making mounting cameras and GPS units easier. Another super feature of this handle is that when fitted in solo canoes and pack boats its at a great height for holding when carrying the boat using a yoke.
