A Removable Kit Desgined For Use In Laminate Canoes

The Swift Canoes Removable Kneeling Thwart Kit has been designed for use with laminate lightweight open canoes only. Using Swift Canoes brilliant side pod mountings, that are simply adhesived into the canoes sides, wherever the paddler chooses. This gives the paddler the ability to chose the perfect place to mounting place based on the canoe they are fitting too and their paddling style.

This kit is supplied with fixings to make the kneeling thwart either fixed or removable. To mount fixed simply use the nuts, bolts and washers, however if mounting to be removable the supplied wing nuts, bolts and washers are used.

Swift have beautifully craft the Kneeling Thwart itself from Cherry Wood with an oiled finish. The Thwart has a comfortable curve allowing the paddler to kneel on it all day. We do recommend some foam knee padding for the ultimate comfort.

The cherry wood kneeling thwart is supplied as an uncut length ensuring it can be cut to size where ever the paddler deems to be the best for their paddling.
