The Feelfree Moken 10 Angler has always been one of our most popular designs of sit on top kayak from Feelfree, especially in kayak fishing circles. With a short, wide design and trimaran-style hull shape the Feelfree Moken 10 offers exceptional stability with excellent straight line tracking that offers maximum confidence for anyone who might be a little worried about the potentially tippy nature of kayaks.
The Feelfree Moken 10 V2 builds on the design of the old Moken 10 Angler and takes it to the next level. The big change with the V2 has to be the seating position. Gone is the clip on seat where you sit on the hull and in its place is a comfortable metal framed seat which sits neatly into the mouldings on the sides of the cockpit area the give a higher and above all else, drier experience. There are now even adjustable foot rests as well that you can move to get the most comfortable paddling position for you as you while away a few hours in your favourite fishing spot.
That said, the Feelfree Moken 10 Angler V2 is not just a fishing kayak. Due to its hull shape it is also an ideal Sit On Top Kayak for day trips as it has great straight line tracking allowing the paddler to concentrate on a smooth and efficient paddle stroke while enjoying the scenery. This makes the Moken 10 Angler a popular choice for photography and wildlife watching as well, especially in the camo colour schemes. The Moken's short length, moulded carry handles and Wheel in the Keel make it is easy to transport to and from the water even after a long days paddle. The wheel in the keel is designed for use on hard surfaces and for sandy conditions, you will have to either carry the kayak or use a trolley instead. In order to prolong the life of the wheel's axle you will need to occasionally wash off dirt and salt water and keep the wheel area free from dirt, gravel and stones.
