A Fast, High Performance Fishing Sit On Top Kayak

The Viking Profish Reload is a high performance sit on top fishing kayak. Designed with a 4.5m length, a 75cm width at the widest point just behind the seat, a lovely sharp bow and elongated stern. This is to ensure that the Viking Kayaks Profish Reload is at home in most conditions, the sharp entry line at the bow allows the paddler to attack rougher waters, letting the nose cut through the water with ease. The elongated stern make sure the Reload tracks superbly well, holding its line even in tough conditions. The widest point of the Reload has been placed just behind the seated area and when coupled with the flared hull shape and harder chine to the sides, gives a feeling of stability when paddling or playing a fish, but without compromising the on the water performance.   

Viking have designed the Profish Reload to tick all the boxes and go beyond expectations to deliver an unrivalled combination of speed, stability and features. The basics of the boat are as you'd expect from a good, well thought out fishing kayak. Solid side carry handles make for easier car-topping, and the webbed front and rear handles make moving around off the water with 2 people simple. A large oval front hatch to give access into the hull, which is ideal for storing dry bags and or a trolley. The large rear tank offers further storage space, should the paddler not want to fill the rear tank with the optional chill pod. More secure storage in the form of 3 twist lock bucket hatches (1 in front & 2 behind the seating position) give ample places to keep smaller items secure and close to hand. Viking have positioned 2 forward facing rod holders within easy reach, along with 4 rear facing rod holders right behind the seat. A couple of Railblaza StarPort mounts between the rear facing rod holders are ideal for a flag or light, mounted on a Railblaza pole.   

Centrally right in front of the paddler is a super handy Tackle Pod System. This gives paddlers a quick to access removable pod that can contain tackle, bait or other useful items. There is even a cutting board on the top of the Tackle Pod right in front of the paddler. The Tackle Pod is a perfect place to mount a fish finder, and Viking have even added a transducer slot in the bottom and a scupper style hole to run the transducer wiring through. Mounting a fishfinder to the removable central Tackle Pod give the ability to quickly take this off, keeping it all safe and in one place. It also means that when you load or unload the Viking Kayaks Profish Reload to or from your car, you've not got that additional weight to worry about lifting.

As well as all these top features Viking Kayaks have made sure that the Profish Reload can also be easily outfitted with an optional Rudder System, Chill Pod (designed to fit into the rear tank area keeping catches or bait fresh), & the Viking Kayaks Kid Pod (In place of the Tackle Pod) which allows paddlers to take a child out for a spot of fishing too!
