The Starboard Lima Carbon 2 part SUP paddle has been created for paddlers who are wanting a lightweight paddle with max performance. When looking at SUP racing or Touring/Fitness paddles speed and efficiency has to be a top priority and the Lima Carbon delivers this superbly. Utilising a powerful catch and clean release which helps the paddler smoothly accelerate through the water and maintain this speed. Its two-piece construction makes it strong and robust, slightly travel-friendly and ideal for most paddlers.

Available with 3 different high performance blade sizes (M, L or XL) allowing paddlers to choose their ideal blade surface area. The high-performance blade of the Starboard Lima features pronounced blade face concave that works to grip as much water as possible with every stroke and in doing so creating the power and reducing flutter. Constructed using a full coverage 3k Carbon and a PVC core, the Lima has a high reflex but with a lighter weight and great strength. To the rear of the blade it has a twin rib structure which gives the blade strength to make sure the paddle blade is able to cut through the water quickly and it reduces the core volume of the Lima blade by 15%. This translates to every bit of energy the paddler put in to every paddle stroke is directly transferred to a fast and super efficient forward motion which is why it is so well loved by paddlers taking part in SUP racing/sprints & touring/fitness paddlers.  

The lightweight carbon shaft keeps the weight to a minimum while keeping a brilliant blend of balance and strength. The ergonomic carbon handle fits comfortably into the paddlers hand and together with the 29mm round shaft provides a brilliant amount of control and give the paddle confidence to drive a positive paddle stroke. The adjustable length shaft is quick & easily to change thanks to the flick lever system with an anit-twist inner notch which stops the shaft spinning and keeps the handle and blade in the perfect position. The 2 part shaft refers to the adjustable shaft being able to be removed from the main paddle shaft saving a few cm when storing or transporting.
