A Top Performance Solid Race SUP

The Starboard All Star is a high performance, fast solid race board that is the ultimate SUP for all conditions. With countless competition wins world wide the All Star has elite pedigree without being designed only for elite race paddlers. The All Star enables entry level riders to have that elite spec board that they can use to whatever potential they desire, be that fast touring on local waters or getting serious in regional, club or national SUP races.   

Packed with features and tech to make every paddler able to reach their potential. The All Star 14 has a low volume, thinner profile to help reduce the effects of side chop and has low wind resistance which allows a faster more efficient SUP and also create a lighter weight board. A hybrid dugout standing area ensures greater control and stability with a raised higher flat deck tail to make for better downwinding, surfing and turning. In the standing area StarBoard have put 2 drainage scupper holes with carbon hull covers in order to help water leave the board more quickly and be channelled out smoothly to keep the paddlers forward speed. This makes the All Star 14 perfect for all paddling, be that choppier sea conditions or calm flat fresh waters. The rounded nose is much more forgiving when the waves or wind are coming side on, while the channel to the back of the nose helps sheds water to get it off the board as quickly as possible. Inserts to the middle and side of the All Star 14 allow paddlers to fine tune exactly where their preferred position is for beach start and the like. 

StarBoard have created numerous widths in the All Star Range to ensure there is a SUP for every paddlers intended use. Be that a slightly wider board for either heavier paddlers or for weekend paddlers wanting a mix of stability and performance. The narrow boards are perfect for lighter / elite level race paddlers wanting the quickest, lightest SUP out there. 

Offered in 2 constructions either Wood Carbon or Carbon Reflex Sandwich both of which have their benefits which better suit certain paddlers and uses.

Wood Carbon: This construction is a lightweight, strong option that is built to endure slightly harsher uses. Using a 150g biaxial carbon that wraps the full deck, overlapping to form a flat stringer which boosts stiffness and strength. Extra 0.6mm Australian Pine and fibreglass layers positioned in the standing area increase impact resistance in those high use areas. Reinforcement strips protect sharp edges, add strength in key impact zones and keep the weight down. A UD carbon stringer on the bottom is perfect for giving race ready confidence thanks to its ability to increase stiffness and breaking strength.

Carbon Reflex Sandwich: This is the lightest, strongest and therefore fastest construction. The full PVC bottom and standing area are paired with the lightest 100g biaxial carbon available to give the max amount of on the water responsiveness. 100g Biax Carbon wraps the entire deck, bottom and rails to really deliver strength, stiffness and weight efficiency. Ultra-light UD carbon reinforcements run over the rails giving race durability and added torsional stiffness.
