Riot Edge 11
The Riot Edge 11 is a fantastic short touring kayak for all paddlers looking to move up from an entry level or recreational kayak to something with bags of performance that will take their paddling further. Ideal for exploring the creeks around the North Norfolk coastline or longer days out cruising the beautiful Norfolk Broads. The Edge 11 has all the features you need for great trips around your local waterway.
The Riot Edge 11 has a comfortable seating system with an adjustable recline angle and height backrest along with a leg lifter in the padded seat base pad. The cockpit is a good size for easy entry and exit, and a large rear storage compartment with dual density rubber hatch cover is sealed off from the main cockpit with a bulkhead and gives the Edge 11 all the features. If you need more storage there are even bungee's on the deck in front and to the rear of the cockpit and a very handy storage net inside the kayak in the front of the cockpit. An extremely useful front deck mounted paddle park gives an easy place to store your paddle when you are getting in and out of the kayak or even just taking a moment to rest and enjoy the scenery.
The Edge 11 has a wonderfully stable, confident feel on the water and paddles superbly well for such a short touring kayak. The drop down skeg helps to keep the Riot Edge 11 going in a straight line should the wind pick up and can be finely adjusted when on the water with Riot Kayaks great click skeg adjuster to the side of the cockpit. Drain bungs in both the cockpit area and the rear storage compartment makes draining any water out of the Edge 11 quick and easy. A bow air bag in front of the slide adjustable foot pegs gives extra buoyancy should you happen to turn the Edge 11 over and makes recovery that bit easier.
If you are looking to take your paddling further without needing a 15ft kayak then the performance of the Riot Edge 11 is what you need.
