Kayak Carrier For Car Roofracks
The Thule 520-1 uprights are designed to carry up to two kayaks on their side on the roofrack of your car. By mounting the kayaks on their side it reduces space allowing you to carry two kayaks or carry one alongside a narrow roof box or cycle carrier. Mounting kayaks on their side also helps reduce wind resistance while driving.
When not in use the uprights can be folded flat to reduce drag and is also handy if you keep your car in a garage as you can fold them down and drive in rather than having to remove them.
The Thule 520-1 come supplied with a pair of Thule roof rack strap but if you intend to carry more than one kayak you will need to purchase another pair of straps.
