The Thule OutWay Hanging is an incredibly easy to use bike carrier which fits a range of frame types allowing safe and secure transport. Mounting off of the boot or tailgate of the vehicle, this carrier is ideal if you don't have a towbar or cant get a roof rack.

The secure mounting system has grippy rubberised contact points, which hold firm against the vehicle. Strong torque limited ratcheting steel cables mount from the top of the boot, tightening to secure the carrier in place. Once the correct tension is reached the cable adjustment dial can be locked, locking the carrier onto your vehicle.

It is incredibly simple to mount your bikes on the OutWay Hanging, simply lift your bike so the frame rests on the cushioned cradles, which protect your bike as well as reducing road vibrations, and secure with the padded ratcheting pump buckle straps. An integrated Anti Sway System mounts between the bikes preventing bike to bike contact. A Cable Lock in the right side cradle arm is ideal for securnig your bikes during transportation.

When using the Thule OutWay Hanging the vehicles rear lights and numberplate may be blocked, if so Thule's Light Board 976 (Sold Separately) can be mounted from the carrier with new rear lights and numberplate holder.

The OutWay Hanging can be folded flat against the vehicle when not in use, making parking much easier. The cars boot can also be opened with the carrier attached.

When removed from the vehicle the OutWay Hanging folds incredibly compact making it ideal to store in your boot or at home.
