The Thule OutWay Platform is the ideal 2 bike rear mounted cycle carrier, with a raised bike platform which sits your bikes above the rear lights and number plate so an additional rear light bar is not required.

Mounting to a wide range of vehicle types, including saloon, estate, and SUV's with grippy mounting pads, boot lip hooks, and strong torque limited steel cable fasteners which securely hold the carrier onto your vehicle, without overtightening. When secured the torque limited adjustment dial can be locked, locking the carrier to your vehicle.

Securing your bikes on the OutWay Hanging is incredibly quick and easy, adjustable wheel trays with ratcheting straps secure the wheels in place, with detachable and adjustable frame clamping arms which adjust to correctly secure a large range of bike frame sizes. These frame arms use torque limited Acu-Tight claw calmps to correctly secure, without overtightening, and are lockable for maximum security. If you are wanting to carry a Carbon Framed bike on the OutWay Hanging, Thule recommend using the Carbon Frame Protector 984 (Sold Separately).

When bikes are not loaded the OutWay Hanging can be folded flat against the car, making reversing easier. the car boot can also be safely accessed without bikes on board. The carrier has a compact folding design which makes storing incredibly easy, fitting into most car boots with ease.
