Canoe Carrier That Prevents Sideways Movement
The Thule Portage 819 canoe carrier is designed to securely carry your canoe on a car roofrack using the 4 padded load stops to eliminate any sideways movement.
These padded L-shaped load stops have ramped sides which make loading from the side of the vehicle much easier. The included pair of 400cm cam buckle straps with buckle protectors and bow/stern tiedowns are ideal for getting a secure hold on your canoe for transportation.
Mounting to your roof rack via an easy FlipFit™ bracket system which fits around most Thule roof bars as standard, as well as many factory roof bars. The Thule T-Track Adapter 882 is perfect for securely mounting to T-Track bars like Thule's SlideBar. Both mounting options allow you to slide the load stops into an ideal position before fastening, for perfect positioning on your canoe.
