Compact Folding Towbar Cycle Carrier

The Thule VeloCompact is a lightweight towbar mounted cycle carrier which fits a wide range of bike types, including E-Bikes, with easy to use features that are ideal for everyday use. As the name suggests the VeloCompact has a compact folding design which allows easy storage in most car boots when not in use.

Mounting your bikes on the VeloCompact is simple, large adjustable wheel trays, fitting longer bikes up to 1250mm, with ratcheting straps secure the wheels in place. Adjustable frame arms allow mounting of a range of frame sizes, with torque limited frame clamps which are lockable and hold at the ideal tension without overtightening. For bikes with a Carbon Frame it is recommended to use Thule's Carbon Frame Protector 984 (Sold Separately).

If you are looking to carry more bikes on your carrier the VeloCompact 3 bike carrier can be fitted with the VeloCompact 4th Bike Adapter 9261 (Sold Separately).

Getting the VeloCompact onto your towbar is just as easy, the adjustable coupling aligns well on the towbar allowing one handed operation. An adjustable tension dial ensures you get a secure hold, once secure this coupling can be locked for additional security. On vehicles with an externally mounted spare wheel, the Thule VeloCompact Spare Wheel Adapter 9241 (Sold Separately) can be fitted, note this does reduce the carriers capacity by 1 bike.

When fitted to your vehicle and loaded with bikes the VeloCompact can be angled away from the car thanks to the handy Smart Foot Pedal Tilt system, allowing boot access whilst reducing the risk of damage to your bikes or vehicle.

The VeloCompact can be folded flat when not in use, with retractable wheel trays, fitting into most car boots or for easy storage.
