VW T6 Specific Cycle Carrier

The Thule WanderWay is a specialist boot or tailgate mounted cycle carrier that's specifically designed to fit Volkswagen T6 Transporter vans (2015-2024) with a car style tailgate. Supplied fully assembled which makes fitting the WanderWay to your vehicle a simple task, the carrier sits high enough on your boot to maintain visibility of your rear lights and numberplate.

Mounting your bikes onto the WanderWay is incredibly simple, Slide adjustable wheel trays with adjustable pump buckle wheel straps hold the wheels securely in place. Whilst the frame clamping arms, which are detachable and adjustable, make mounting of a range of bike sizes and frame styles much simpler. Torque limited Acu-Tight frame clamps fasten with a set tension for a secure hold without the risk of overtightening. If you are looking to carry a Carbon Framed bike it is recommended to use Thule's Carbon Frame Protector 984 (Sold Separately) to further spread the clamping force of the Acu-Tight Fasteners. The Acu-Tight Clamps are also lockable for better security during transportation.

When not in use the WanderWay can be folded flat vertically against the vehicle, improving clearance when parking and the tailgate can still be opened safely when bikes are not loaded.

Available as standard to fit 2 bikes, the Thule WanderWay 3rd Bike Adapter 9116 (Sold Separately) and Thule WanderWay 4th Bike Adapter 9117 (Sold Separately) can be added to increase the carriers capacity to 4 bikes.
