Nova Craft Prospector 15 SP3
The Nova Craft Prospector 15 SP3 open canoe is the shortest model in the outfitter Nova Craft range that keeps true to the hugely popular prospector shape, just scaled down slightly. This shorter version of the Prospector is perfect for lighter or smaller paddlers, solo paddling or folks looking for a lighter, more responsive and nimble canoe for added manoeuvrability. For those looking for a similar canoe but with more carrying capacity and stability then you should check out the Nova Craft Prospector 16 SP3.
Made in the home of open canoeing - Canada, Nova Craft have been manufacturing canoes for over 40 years and are world renowned for their quality designs and workmanship.
The Prospector canoe hull shape is so successful due to its versatility on a variety of different water types. With forgiving lines and slight rocker, the Nova Craft Prospector is just as much at home cruising down slow moving rivers as it is tackling small rapids or day trips on local canals or lakes.
Available in Nova Craft's superb hard wearing, extra tough SP3 triple-layer plastic, manufactured by oven roto-molding three layers of superlinear polyethylene. The outer and inner layers are solid plastic and the middle layer is a foam core that gives these canoe some inherent buoyancy should you turn them over. These canoes are extremely strong, amongst the strongest anywhere so provide a reliable canoe offering many years of life span. This provides all-round paddlers with a canoe that is the perfect versatile choice whether your adventure takes you onto moving water or just some pleasant general recreational use. The tough SP3 canoes are very popular for centres, hire fleets and rental operators due to their durability and superb construction.

The Nova Craft Prospector 15 SP3 comes with wood webbed seats as standard, however it is also available with moulded plastic seats which are ideal for Hire, Activity Centres & Schools.
