Bixpy J-2 Outboard Motor Kit
The Bixpy J-2 Electric Outboard Motor Kit is a brilliant motor that is now powering thousands of kayaks world wide. Using its now infamous jet propulsion motor using technology borrowed from hydro-electric dam turbines, jet engines and airfoil technics used in aerospace applications. This has allowed Bixpy to create a powerful, compact package that is ideal for a range of kayaks and SUPs, allowing them to go further, explore more and get home more easily.
The J-2 Motor has an impeller jet system design which allows for an efficient motor that optimises its power output far better than a traditional propeller driven style motor. Bixpy use a PowerShroud™ ducting system to eliminating power robbing cavitation and drag, this gives the J-2 Motor a lightweight, streamline and compact feel in a rather small package which makes it ideal for kayaks & Sit On Tops.
This J-2 Motor kit comes with a lithium ion battery (PP-378), this slim line battery is easy to stow on most sit on top or fishing kayaks either under a framed seats or strapped into the rear storage tank, or fishing crates, they can even go inside the hatches of most kayaks. The waterproof battery allows for piece of mind that should your kayak or SUP flip your battery is safe, it has a magnetic kill switch meaning should you be separated from your kayak your kayak will not power away. A wireless remote control operates the 12 forward and 3 reverse speeds. The battery also features an auxiliary outlet 5v & 12v for charging other devices while out on the water.
Bixpy offer solutions that allow the J-2 motor kit to be mounted on most kayaks, sit on tops, SUPs and fishing kayaks. They offer a Thru-Hull adaptor for Pedal drive kayaks such as Hobie Kayaks, Universal Rudder mounts working off a 10mm pin which covers most kayaks with rudder capabilities and they even have an adaptor an mount plate for inflatable and SUPs. The lower section of the rudder blade has a screwed mounting which allows you to attach the Bixpy J-2 Motor super quickly. This rudder adaptor works off a 10mm stainless steel pin as part of the easy installation process, this fits not only Vibe Kayaks but will replace most other kayak manufacturers rudders as well. This Universal Rudder Adaptor like most has a 90 degree hinge to allow deployment and uphaul quickly for when water depths change.

Bixpy Slide & Lock Fin Adaptor Mount
The Bixpy Slide & Lock Fin Adaptor mount is designed for use with the Bixpy DIY Fin Adaptor Plate (Above) on the bottom of inflatable kayaks allowing them to take a Bixpy J-2 Motor Kit. This fin adaptor slides into the mounting plate then locks in place, sometimes called a standard fin this is common on some inflatable's and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPS).
Please Note: This fin mount is the fin only and is designed for use with the Bixpy DIY Fin Adaptor Plate.
