Certainly having proven itself over the past few years as an extremely popular, versatile and rugged little inflatable kayak that's great value for money, you do have to wonder what Gumotex could possibly do to improve the Twist 2/1 any further. Well, in its' newest incarnation all they have really changed is to have added a centre mounting point so you can fit a seat in the ideal position for when paddling solo.
It's not a massive change by any stretch of the imagination, but it does show that Gumotex are willing to take on board even the most simple suggestion and run with it to make something great that little bit better. The Twist 2/1 still packs down extremely small so it takes up next to no space in a car boot making it the ideal companion to a family holiday.
There never really was any need to change anything else about the Twist tandem so all the other features are still there and the paddling experience is the very same. But now you can truly say that the Twist 2/1 is a superb inflatable kayak versatile enough for a whole host of situations whether there's just 1 person or 2 people looking to get out on the water.
