The Perception Expression 14 and 15 is the long term replacement for the Carolina and has been designed to be the next generation in day and overnight touring kayaks. The Expression 14 and 15 deliver more performance and forward speed than your average day touring kayak, track superbly and respond very well to being put on an edge. If you are looking for a touring kayak for exploring the Norfolk Broads, rivers and lakes, but will also allow you to expand your horizons towards the sea and start estuary or coastal kayaking, then the Perception Expression 14 or 15 are good options.

The hull shape, bow entry, fore and rear deck of the Perception Expression 14 and 15 are of classic UK touring kayak design and the styling is very pleasing to the eye. With the availability of two size options you can be assured of a comfortable fit, something of importance when looking at a touring or sea kayak you’ll spend a long times paddling in. The EXP backband is comfortable and adjustable as well as being less likely to get in the way when rolling your kayak.

The Perception Expression 14 and 15 has a slight V-shaped hull which is very reassuring yet responsive without being unduly tippy and responds to edging as a kayak of these proportions should. Should the wind get up or you are attacking a strong current, then simply drop down the spring loaded TruTrack skeg and you'll very quickly appreciate just how arrow straight the Expression can be.
