The Wave Sport Hydra 145 and Hydra 145 LV is widely regarded as one of the best multi-purpose long touring kayaks, with the most comfortable outfitting. The distinctive chined hull with moderate rocker has great stability which responds to an edge very well for course changes but also tracks well in a straight line and has a good turn of speed. An adjustable, fully retractable, skeg keeps you straight in more challenging conditions while the raised bow enables it to cope with a stiff chop or climb waves making it just as at home on the sea as it is on flat rivers and lakes or the Norfolk Broads.

The generously sized cockpit has Wave Sport's comfortable CoreTour outfitting with hip pads, adjustable thigh braces, adjustable foot pegs and leg lifters.

There is plenty of storage space, front and rear storage compartments with sealed foam bulkheads plus an easily accessible day hatch in front of the cockpit. Bungee deck rigging add to the carrying capability, while the YakAttack GearTrac & Accessory Rails to the rear of the cockpit allow for easy mounting of Go Pros, other cameras and accessories.
