The Wave Sport Hydra 125 & 125 LV are brilliant short touring kayaks, taking all the best bits from the longer Hydra 145 and Hydra 145 LV. Packing all of their performance into a smaller, easier to manage kayak. Retaining the chines running down the hull with moderate bow to stern rocker the Hydra 125 offers a responsive edge which allows paddlers to play in smaller surf or feel the negative edge more easily when touring. The entry and exit lines of the kayak give perfect tracking ability on calmer waters and for days with tougher conditions the drop down skeg adds even better tracking.

The Hydra 125 is a perfect size for mid-larger sized paddlers with a 135kg max capacity and enough leg room to suit. The Hydra 125 LV is perfect for smaller - medium sized paddlers as Wave Sport have reduced the overall volume taking the max capacity down to 120kgs and have slightly reduced the dimensions making the fit more suited to smaller paddlers.

A well sized cockpit give comfortable access into the kayak which should see most paddlers feeling at ease when getting in and out of the Hydra 125 & 125 LV. The Wave Sport Core Whiteout touring outfitting with hip pads, adjustable thigh braces, adjustable foot pegs and ratchet leg lifter is one of if not the most comfortable and well adjusting outfitting available in a touring kayak. This outfitting enables almost any paddler to get the best fit and most comfortable lock in when required.

A large oval rear storage hatch and round front hatch both with bulkheads give plenty of room for storing all the gear/dry bags you might want to take with you, while the very handy day hatch placed just in front of the cockpit allows you to keep things you might need quickly close to hand. To the rear of the cockpit on the back deck there are 2 slide track rails which can be used for mounting accessories such as camera mounts. Deck lines, deck bungee's and spring loaded front and rear carry handles complete the outfitting in style.
