The Nova Craft Prospector 15 SP3 open canoe is the shortest model in the outfitter Nova Craft range that keeps true to the hugely popular prospector shape, just scaled down slightly. This shorter version of the Prospector is perfect for lighter or smaller paddlers, solo paddling or folks looking for a lighter, more responsive and nimble canoe for added manoeuvrability. The Prospector canoe hull shape is so successful due to its versatility on a variety of different water types. Available in Nova Craft's superb hard wearing, extra tough SP3 triple-layer plastic, manufactured by oven roto-molding three layers of superlinear polyethylene. The outer and inner layers are solid plastic and the middle layer is a foam core that gives these canoe some inherent buoyancy should you turn them over. These canoes are extremely strong, amongst the strongest anywhere so provide a reliable canoe offering many years of life span. This provides all-round paddlers with a canoe that is the perfect versatile choice whether your adventure takes you onto moving water or just some pleasant general recreational use.
