The Nova Craft Prospector 16 Fibreglass Laminate Canoe is a brilliant lightweight option for those looking for a canoe that is easy to manage both on and off the water but with a more budget friendly price point. Sticking with keeping things as lightweight as possible Nova Craft use anodised aluminium gunwales these are tough enough to deal with day-to-day paddling and also look superb against the shiny gel coated finish.

This lightweight fibreglass laminate layup is perfect as an affordable, budget friendly option. With a proven record for durability this hull construction uses a woven fibreglass cloth with an external gel coated finish. While the external gel coat will scratch over time, any damage can be repaired easily using a Nova Craft Gel Coat Repair Kit which is colour matched to the original colour of the hull. This means that once a repair has been carried out it can be difficult to see the repaired area.
