The Hobie Mirage Pro Angler has long been known as the ultimate fishing kayak in the Hobie range of boats. Many of their kayaks have features for fishing, but the Pro Angler is the only one designed with the angler exclusively in mind.

Front, rear and side handles help you move the kayak to and from the water, and once there you’ll find the Pro Angler’s hull provides a great combination of speed and stability. The huge and fully adjustable Cool Ride Mesh Seat provides a comfortable location from which to while away the hours, or if you so wish, the Hobie Mirage Pro Angler is stable enough to fish from standing up. The Vantage ST seating system has adjustable height, back support and lumbar support, meaning you can really get this seat set up for almost anyone.

The deck area on the Hobie Pro Angler is packed with every feature you could ever want for on a fishing trip, and as expected from Hobie, retractable rudder controls, storage spaces, work area and drinks holder are all at your fingertips.

The Pro Angler has specific protected storage areas to carry up to six fishing rods horizontally and a further two in the rear rod holders. It features a large bungee covered rear tank well and a further three internal storage compartments, accessed by two smaller centres and rear hatches and one large bow hatch. This gives the Pro Angler a max capacity in excess of 270kg, meaning you really can go out with everything you need to land that big catch.

Customising the Pro Angler is no problem as it comes with specific mounting areas ready to accept lights, GPS, fish finder or anything else you need to fit. The Lowrance ready system makes fitting your Lowrance fish finder easier than ever.

The Hobie Mirage Pro Angler naturally comes with the patented Mirage Drive system with Glide Technology, which offers reduced resistance and increases efficiency. The drive blades retract up against the hull for shallow water and easy beach landings and with the ability to go into reverse gear at the pull of a toggle, the Mirage 180 V2 Drive now gives you all the control you could possibly ask for. The Pro Angler gives you the option to either paddle or pedal the kayak to your favourite fishing spot in a near silent fashion. Alternatively, it also means you can fish while you cruise, never needing to stop except to haul in that big fish.
