The Hobie Mirage Pro Angler has become the flagship of the Hobie Mirage Drive Kayaks range both here in the UK and overseas. Originally been well known for being ideal for the larger paddle wanting to pedal, paddle and fish, the Pro Angler has since develop and is now a go to for all serious anglers of any size. Hobie have retained the space & stability the Pro Angler has always had but have packed even more features on as standard to make outfitting to your liking even easier, they have also added all the next gen equipment as well.

The 360 XR drive now allows for the more control of any Hobie Mirage Drive Kayak ever. Offering precision thanks to the ability to point the fins in any direction, which really does give you 360 degree movement. The drive itself is controlled from the steering handle by the seat, which rotates the steering cogs that are placed under the drive mountings and engage with the cog in the mirage drive system. Hobie have even given the ability to manually rotate the fins from on the drive. The smooth nature of the Mirage pedal drive remains as brilliant as ever. The 360 XR come direct from Hobie with Kick Up Turbo fins, this allows for the fins to be protected should they hit any underwater obstructions, while the Turbo fins are the fastest fins Hobie have which means no need to upgrade.

For steering the Hobie 360 XR Series there is not only the 360 XR Mirage Drive but also a retractable rudder and for increase tracking ability now a drop-down skeg as well. All are easy to deploy, retract and control from the seating position.

The Vantage ST Seat has a 4 way adjustable system which enables the most comfortable ride when on the water and can even be taken off and used as a seat on the land when you stop for a break. Hobie have used a breathable mesh for the seat base and back rest allowing water to drain quickly and also for great breathability on hotter days. Finished with some lovely reflective details, the Vantage St Seating system is one of the most comfortable ways to spend the day on the water.

The Pro Angler 360 XR Series has loads of storage areas including a large rear storage tank, bow hatch with buckle liner, rear twist lock round hatch and a large rectangle hatch just in front of the seat with a pivoting tackle management system. Hobie H-Rails run down most of the Pro Angler on either side, these aluminium rails offer a strong, anti-corrosion mounting area that can easily accommodate much more gear where ever you need it.

The retractable transducer shield protects from impacts but can retract away for transport and landings. Ab in built transducer mount allows for side scanning and optimal transducer performance. Hobie have as with most of their kayaks installed thru-hull cable plus which allow for much quicker and easier running of cables.
