A Short Entry Level Sea Kayak

The P&H Leo is a versatile sea kayak that has been designed to sit between the Virgo and Scorpio allowing comfort, stability and predictability without compromising performance. Ideal for paddlers that are looking to explore a range of different types of sea kayaking but also still want to river cruise. Thanks to its hull the Leo offers brilliant initial stability along with good progressive secondary stability which makes it perfect for those looking to take their first steps into sea kayaking but doesn't limit paddlers growth or those who are already developed paddlers.

Available in Corelite X this is a triple layer foam cored construction which offers a stiffer hull to allow for great levels of performance. This option reduces the overall weight slightly over the MZ3 single layer construction option which is available to order.

The Leo comes with a drop down skeg system which can help with straight line tracking in tricky wind & weather conditions. The skeg control allows for it to be deployed and retracted easily as well as to control the level of skeg that the paddler would prefer to use in the conditions they are facing. P&H have placed the controller for the skeg to the front of the cockpit which is out of the way of most paddlers stroke action and ensures no annoying hand clashes during the paddle stroke. All Leo sea kayaks come outfitted with the well loved Connect Outfitting, this has a seating system with a buckle pull adjustable backband, hip pads, aggressive and comfortable thigh braces along with adjustable foot pegs. On the deck you get enough storage to stow all your weekend gear in the form of a bow hatch, stern hatch and smaller rear day hatch. Deck lines and deck bungee's allow for any on deck storage that could be required when loading up for those longer trips. Split paddle recesses, a sail mast foot insert, compass recess and security eye to the rear of the cockpit all make the Leo a modern sea kayak.
