The Discovery 133 is constructed of robust 3 layer Polyethylene and comes fitted as standard three comfortable wood webbed seats which makes it ideal as a short family canoe. As a canoe for solo paddling, the Discovery 133 can either be paddled conventionally from the mid seat solo to adjust the trim accordingly or has oar lock slots fitted in the gunwales (Oar Locks & Oars Sold Separately). This makes it possible to row as well as paddle this canoe, making it even more versatile. If required the Discovery 133 can even be fitted with a transom style motor mount and be powered be a small electric outboard motor.
