The Hobie Passport 10.5 R is the ideal entry level Hobie, with a compact design which perfectly suits paddling or pedalling inland waterways of the UK as well as on calm coastal trips. Constructed using rotomolded plastic it retains the sleek and stylish look of higher end Hobie's, with a smaller lighter weight shape which is easy to handle on and off the water by kids, teens and adults alike.

The Passport 10.5 R is supplied with a Hobie Mirage GT Drive With Kick Up Fins, the GT (Glide Technology) Drive uses roller bearings on the pivot points to increase efficiency and pedalling smoothness. The Kick Up Fins have been designed to "kick up" out of the way of underwater obstructions, greatly reducing the chance of damaging the fins. Hobie's Mirage Drives uses a flipper style to propel the Passport through the water, when in shallower water the fins can be fluttered to navigate without damaging the fins or the drive. Designed to fit a wide range of leg lengths the Mirage GT drive has been fitted with independently adjustable footrests which allow for great personalisation for the ideal fit.

A lightweight mesh aluminium seat which sits up off the deck is at the ideal paddling/pedalling height and has an angle adjustable backrest for a personalised fit. This raised seat can even be removed from the Passport 10.5 R to be used as a comfortable beach chair after a long day on the water. The flip down rudder is manually raised and lowered when getting on or off the water, and uses a simple push/pull rod controlled via a lever on the left side of the kayak. This design makes it incredibly easy to fine tune the rudder system to suit your style.

Bungeed storage areas front and rear are ideal for storing drybags, trolleys and any other bulky belongings, a mid-mounted 8" Twist-N-Seal hatch allows access into the entire hull to store longer belongings, run cables or fasten accessories. 2 flush mount rod holders, just behind the seats are the ideal place to store your rods when pedalling to your favourite spot or trolling for fish as you make your way. Accessory T-Tracks either side of the paddler are ideal for adding additional holders for rods, camera mounts, fish finders and much more. A front mast mount even allows you to fit the Passport 10.5 R with Hobie's sail kit, letting you use the wind for propulsion.

When moving the Hobie Passport 10.5 R to and from the water it can be mounted on to Hobie's Plug In Carts, these fit into the rear reinforced scuppers, where additional accessories like the Hobie Kayaks Livewell V2 can also be fitted.
