An Entry Level, Affordable Hobie Mirage Pedal Drive Kayak

If you're a paddler who has always admired the performance of Hobie kayaks on the water but the cost of them seemed out of reach, Hobie might just have produced the boat of your dreams. Pedalling the Hobie Passport is easy using the Mirage Drive GT System that drops neatly through the hull. Coming equipped with the Mirage Drive with kick-up fins, should you hit any underwater obstructions the fins simply fold back allowing you to glide over the obstacle, they then flick down and re-engage once you're over the obstruction and start pedalling again. This brilliant feature means no more bent masts or broken fins.

Controlling the Hobie Passport is also straight forward, thanks to the rudder system which has a steering handle located right next to the seated position. The seat itself is a strong aluminium frame with mesh seat base & backrest pad that has a recline angle adjustment. This makes it super comfortable for a day out on the water. You can move the Mirage Pedal Drive arms to accommodate paddlers of all different leg lengths, making the Hobie Passport ideal for a whole variety of people to use.

As with all Hobie Kayaks they come feature packed and the Hobie Passport is just the same, including a handy 8-inch twist and seal hatch in front of the seat allowing easy access into the hull for storage, a  great sized rear storage tank with over securing bungee's, a 2 piece paddle and a paddle park. There is even a vertical accessory tube to the front of the kayak that means adding a sail kit, Bimini is simple.
