The Old Town Bigwater 132 PDL is a superbly stable pedal drive kayak that is perfectly suited to larger paddlers or for those kayak fishing wanting to carry loads of gear. Supplied with the Award Winning Old Town PDL pedal drive system powering the Bigwater 132 PDL is easy. The drive system can be quickly deployed or retracted through the hull using the Easy-Docking System. The PDL drive has a propeller that is driven by pedals to give both instant forwards or reverse thrust, this drive system is adored by kayak fishing paddler who like to keep their kayak in a certain spot and more recently has seen many kayak photographers seeing the advantage of this system for getting the perfect wildlife shot.

Old Town have fitted the Bigwater 132 PDL with the super comfortable raised Element seating system that ensures the paddler is never sat on the deck in a puddle of water and offers plenty of support as well as backrest recline adjustment. The seat is also adjustable forwards and backwards to ensure almost all paddlers can reach the pedal drive, no matter their leg length. 

Steering the Old Town Bigwater 132 PDL is just as easy as powering it backwards and forwards. Using the over stern rudder system which can be deployed from seated position using the deploy and uphaul lever. To manoeuvrer the rudder there is a handle steer to the left hand side of the seating position which means all controls are close to the paddler. 

Old Town have ensured that the Bigwater is fully kitted out with all the features any kayak fishing paddler could want. Placing an EV foam mate just in front of the seat give a place to stand up allowing for the most accurate casting, 2 forwards and 2 rear mounting tracks allow for accessories, fishfinders or rod holders to be easily mounted. 2 flush mount rear facing rod holders give the perfect place to either store rods while getting to you prime location or for trolling. The large rear tank with over bungees gives a space for storing fishing crates or any other luggage you might need close to hand, while the front oval hatch gives access to the Bigwater 132 PDLs internal storage space.
