The Viking Profish 400 comes with an array of features true to Viking's passion for simple, effective outfitting. 1 oval large front hatch allowing access into the hull, while the 2nd twist hatch opens into a smaller recess that's not directly into the hull. This means that if you need to get something from your storage out on the water there's not risk of a wave flooding your boat and turning you over. The wooden cutting board is great for gutting fish or preparing bait and also has a storage area under that is separate to the internal of the hull. A larger transducer mounting area makes outfitting the Profish 400 with your fish finder much easier.

With a stable yet well performing hull shape the Profish 400 has never had any problems keeping up with other fishing kayaks, Viking have however now improved the bow of the Profish 400 lifting it. This has been done in a similar fashion to the superbly popular top performing Viking Reload. So now the Profish 400 has an advantage over most other fishing kayaks.
