Short, Stable & Easy To Handle Fishing Sit On Top

The Viking Kayaks Profish GT is a compact, stable fishing sit on top kayak with plenty of on the water performance. The 12ft length & 82cm width offers a great amount of stability and capacity allowing larger paddlers to get on the water and enjoy some fishing. With a lovely amount of rocker to the bow, the Profish GT can get out through the surf and in the right hands even be surfed back in too. The elongated stern acts almost like a skeg allowing the Profish GT to track well and hold a line, making it great for those looking to get into sea fishing in calm/moderate coastal conditions.   

The feature packed outfitting on the Profish GT makes getting straight on the water or personalising this fishing sit on top kayak simple. The removable central Viking Tackle-Pod gives a place for easily mounting a fish finder, thanks to its transducer mounting slot and scupper style through hole to run wiring through simply. Internally there is enough space to comfortably fit a battery and thanks to the flip-up front lid it is easy to access quickly, meaning that when the paddler needs to get tackle or other items from the Tackle -Pod it is convenient. To the front of the Tackle-Pod are 2 x Railblaza Starport HD mounts give the option to mount other accessories. On the lid of the Tackle-Pod (closest side  to the paddler) is a wooden chopping board perfect for those spending the day out on the water fishing. This Pod is completely removable which is perfect for keeping fishfinder set ups safe when transporting and allows weight to be taken off the Profish GT for an easier lift and load. 

Around the rest of the Viking Kayaks Profish GT there is a large oval front hatch with rubber cover and securing strap perfect for taking dry bags or a C-Tug Trolley. A twist-lock central hatch with internal bucket is a great size for keeping smaller items safe, secure and close to hand. Side solid carry handles make car topping, loading and unloading much easier, whilst bow and stern webbing handles make 2 person lifting easier. For those fishing, 2 x forward facing and 2 x rear facing flush mounted fishing rod holders as well as 2 x Railblaza Starport HD right next to the seat ensure that the paddlers rods are right in arm reach for quickly striking to play a fish. Adjustable foot pegs ensure the paddler can get comfortable and when using a seat/backrest gives the paddler the ability to not only be comfortable and well supported but also thanks to the slightly lower seating position gives a great feeling of added stability.

The large rear-storage tank is a super area to stow gear and is compatible with either the Viking Kayaks Chill Pod or Viking Kayaks Insulated Fish Bag. The Profish GT comes rudder ready making it simple to add the Viking Profish Rudder Kit.
