The Vibe Makana 100 is a brilliant short, stable fishing kayak ideal for paddlers looking to get a fin drive pedal kayak at an superb price. Constructed from high quality materials the Makana 100 is durable and extremely well made. This pedal drive kayak is not only manoeuvrable, but thanks to the fantastic choice of pedal systems it is quick on the water. The X-Drive uses a fin drive to propel you through the water in the most efficient way, it has adjustable pedal arms which makes it incredibly easy to fit peddlers of all leg length. A side mounted rudder control make it incredibly easy to manoeuvre on the water and keeps your hands frees for either fishing or photography. The Makana 100 has a wide flat hull shape with a well pronounced entry-line, this efficiently cuts through the water while also helping to disperse the water away from the kayak giving it the ability to comfortably cover distance on both lakes and rivers as well as over broads, and in calmer seas.

To keep peddlers as comfortable as possible when out on the water Vibe have fitted the Makana 100 with their Hero 2.0 Seating System. The Hero Seat 2.0 still has the same comfort and support that all Vibe Kayaks paddlers know and love from the original Hero seating system, but now Vibe have improved the ergonomics and given the seat additional storage for a tackle tray underneath the seats. Moulded seat height positions which offer a lower position that is ideal for more efficient pedalling, and a higher position to give the best vantage point when casting. For those who are confident enough to cast or reel in while standing Vibe have fitted the Makana 100 with grippy deck pads just in front of the seat.

Keeping all your equipment securely stowed whilst still being in easy reach is key, Vibe have designed the Makana 100 with loads of storage options to make life on the water as easy as possible. An 8" V-Wave hatch fitted to the bottom of the large front storage well, gives good access inside the hull, perfect for running cables to and from the dedicated transducer mounting point. The front storage tank is covered by a bungee Flex Top Cover, this both helps to hold larger items in place and as an easy access paddle park should you need it. A larger rear bungeed storage tank is perfect for storing the like of a fishing crate or dry bags. Tackle box storage bins at either side of the seat give quick access to bait and tackle when required. Keeping your rods secure when pedalling out to your favourite spot is easy thanks to the 2 rearward facing flush mounted rod holders which could also be used for trolling, another 2 additional rods can be stored in the 2 horizontal paddle parks should you need. To allow for mounting additional accessories such as more rod holders, fish finder head units and cameras Vibe have fitted the Makana 100 with 2 front and 2 rear accessory tracks. Finally to help keep you hydrated on the water Vibe have fitted the Makana 100 with 2 cup/bottle holders just in front of the seating position, perfect for those longer days out on the water.

With the hull weighing in at only 24.9kg the Makana 100 is very easy to transport to and from the water and to get on the roof of most vehicles, the Vibe Phantom Grip handles make car topping and moving round a breeze.
