Valley Genesis RM
The Valley Genesis RM is a durable triple layer construction plastic, all-round sea kayak available in 2 sizes 14.10 or 15.1. Designed for paddlers wanting to do a bit of everything the Genesis RM Sea Kayak is just as happy surfing or rock hopping as it is day/weekend paddling around the coast.
This short sea kayak is very responsive and super easy to handle in choppier conditions found closer into shore around the surf zone and rock gardens. While the Genesis RM offers a superb paddle in these lively areas it is also perfectly at home on lakes, rivers, broads and calmer seas for those day or weekend expedition trips.
Saving a couple of kgs in the weight when compared to the older previous Gemini model, but with out losing the durability or features such as the welded in bulkheads that Valley are renown for. The outfitting has kept all the usual Valley sea kayak features with the comfortable seating system, hip pads, built in thigh braces and adjustable foot rests. The Valley Genesis RM has 2 rear hatches with welded in bulkheads as well as a forward hatch with welded bulkhead, as well as this a really handy deck hatch ensures paddlers can keep anything they might need quickly close to hand. The skeg is easy to retract and deploy from the skeg control slider which is in easy reach to the side of the cockpit and flush mounted to ensure there are no annoying hand strikes when paddling. For easy on deck storage as well as rescues the standard deck lines and deck bungee's have been well placed to ensure that real user friendly feel. Bungee loaded bow and stern toggle style handles make 2 person lifting, loading or portaging very easy and eliminate annoying flapping handles when out paddling or transporting on the car.
Perfect for paddlers wanting a well performing, compact, lightweight all round sea kayak that is durable in a sea play environment but that can also be used as a touring kayak the Valley Genesis is a brilliant option that should not be over looked.
