Delta Kayaks 15.5 GT
The Delta Kayaks 15.5 GT is an ultra lightweight touring kayak built for larger paddlers wanting a kayak to efficiently cover some distance but with enough storage space for an overnight or weekend trip. Made from a sleek looking super lightweight thermoformed plastic the Delta Kayaks 15.5 GT not only looks great, but its performance on and off the water is superb. At only 22.2kgs this efficient touring kayak is easy get on with when out on the water paddling and is sure to keep the paddler comfortable.
Sharp entry and exit lines, a moderate V-shaped hull along with a longer waterline length and moderate rocker the Delta Kayaks 15.5 GT carries great speed and holds a line well in both river and mild sea conditions. Should conditions change when you are out on the water, the drop down skeg can be deployed via a jamming cleat placed in easy reach just to the side of the cockpit. The skeg is easy to fine tune how much is deployed keeping the 15.5 GT heading exactly where you want to go.
A bow and stern large easy access oval push-lock storage hatch gives the perfect entry into the store areas with enough room for all the paddlers gear. These hatches are solid and colour-matched to the deck ensuring the sleek and stylish look Delta Kayaks are known for is retained. An additional smaller day hatch just to the front of the cockpit is ideal for keeping any items close to hand that might be needed quickly.
Raised bungee paddle parks on the bow and stern are perfect for quick paddle stowing when required, while raised deck lines just behind the cockpit are perfect for mounting a paddle float. Re-entry from the back deck has been made even easier with recessed bungee's behind the seat reducing the chance of snagging when climbing back in.
Top level comfort in a long touring kayak is essential for most paddlers and Delta Kayaks make sure everyone is fine to spend all day out on the water. The Elevate Seating System makes getting comfortable incredibly easy. The backrest has height and angle adjustment, while the front of the seat base has a leg lifter support. The leg lifter support helps to lock the paddlers legs into the thigh braces which when coupled with the adjustable footrests give the best kayak control. Drainage and airflow channels have also been added to seating system which help paddlers stay comfortable during those long days out on the water.
The Delta Kayaks 15.5 GT has the ability to move the entire seat base within the cockpit, this is perfect for those with longer legs or for trimming a fully loaded kayak for a multi-day trip.

Designed to offer a tight fit over the kayaks cockpit this cover is ideal for keeping water out when transporting and for keeping spiders and other insects out during storage. A front retaining strap can be clipped to the kayak to make sure it stays secured when driving.

Delta Kayaks Hip Pad Kit
This hip pad kit has been designed to work specifically with Delta Kayaks and their contour seating system, it allows the paddler to get the best connection to the kayak. Ensuring you get a snug fit in the cockpit gives the paddler much better control of the kayak when doing more technical paddle strokes and bracing the kayak.
Containing: 2 x moulded side supports & 4 x foam shims. The Foam shims are supplied to fill any gaps between the paddlers hips and the Delta Kayaks Contour Seat pillars.
