The Delta Kayaks 15 S is a lightweight, high performance touring kayak built for small and mid-sized paddlers looking for a boat to really cover the miles in. Constructed from a sleek and lightweight thermoformed plastic Delta Kayaks offer the 15 S in some stunning colours. Weighing in at only 20kgs this top performing touring kayak is easy get on with both on and off the water and super easy to lift and load on and off a roofrack.
Its shallow V-shaped hull with sharp entry and exit lines cuts through the water smoothly whilst efficiently holding its line. Delta Kayaks have given the 15S a moderate rocker which makes paddling in choppy and sea conditions easy but ensures no performance is lost on flatter waters.
Fitted with the Delta Kayaks Elevate seating system it is incredibly simple to get a personalised fit. With a backrest which adjusts in both height and recline angle, as well as a front seat leg lifter which locks your knees into the thigh braces, which are built into the cockpit rim allowing much better control. Delta Kayaks have added drainage and airflow channels to this seat which helps to keep you as cool and dry as possible when you are out paddling.
Some of the superbly well thought out on deck features include: paddle parks on the front and back deck which use raised bungee's to make stowing your paddle quick and easy. Raised deck lines and recessed bungee's behind the seat make it easy to set up a paddle float and pull yourself back into the kayak should a capsize occur. Sleek looking colour match solid hatch covers can be found to the front and behind of the cockpit with space for a great amount of kit. A further matching day hatch, in easy reach to the front of the cockpit is perfect for keeping those essentials close to hand.
