Riot Intrigue - Ultralight
The Riot Intrigue - Ultralight is a superb short touring kayak, ideal for those looking for a large cockpit but still wanting performance. With its Thermoformed construction the Intrigue is brilliantly lightweight at only 13.7kgs which makes it perfect for those who want a kayak light enough to lift and load solo onto a car roofrack. The lightweight nature of this kayak takes nothing away from the durability ensuring the paddler is confident in using the Riot Intrigue Ultralight to its full potential.
The shorter length of the Intrigue makes for a kayak with the ability to turn quickly, thanks to the rear profile of the hull this ability to turn takes nothing away from the straight line tracking. The flared bow helps with this tracking but also deflects water away from the deck giving a drier ride. The larger cockpit ensures for quick and easy entry and exiting of the kayak taking away the hassle for paddlers with more limited movement. The Flex4 seating system has a great amount of adjustment to make sure any paddler can get comfortable. The backrest has a jam-cleat recline angle adjuster as well as the option to raise and lower it, a jam-cleat adjustable leg lift in the seat base pad takes the pressure out of the thighs and gives the control most paddlers want.
The Intrigue - Ultralight has been kitted out with all the other features you would expect from a day touring kayak. A well sized rear storage tank with hard lid gives enough storage for a drybag with all the days essentials in. Bow and stern carry handles allow for the easiest loading and moving with 2 people. Rear attachment straps and front deck bungee's allow for on deck storage and for keeping other emergency kit close to hand.
