Islander Jive
The Islander Jive is a very popular touring kayak perfectly suited to exploring rivers, lakes and broads. Formally known as the Dagger Blackwater and well loved by all who paddled it the Jive offers great stability coupled with on the water performance. A drop down skeg in the rear helps in tricky conditions or when paddlers are still getting to grips with their paddle stroke. The Jive really looks after entry level paddlers, but offers intermediate and above paddlers performance.
A great sized cockpit makes getting in and out of the Jive easy and also allows for a comfortable on the water ride. The seat comes as standard with a foam padded seat base and comfortable back band. Padded knee/thigh rests are well located on the side of the cockpit rim, again making the Jive brilliantly comfortable and easy to use. An oval rear storage hatch with sealed bulkhead gives plenty of storage and front deck bungee's allow for anything you need close to hand to be secured to the foredeck.
