With its long waterline and sleek hull, the Hobie Mirage Revolution 16 will slice through the water whether you are paddling, pedalling or sailing it. Perfect for kayak fishing, coastal touring and inland trips around East Anglia, the Revolution 16 is the fastest solo kayak in the Hobie Mirage Drive range offering a comfortable and rewarding on the water experience.
The cockpit area of the Mirage Revolution 16 features the usual Hobie equipment, the superb, comfortable adjustable Vantage high back mesh seat, water bottle holder, fingertip rudder control, revolutionary 180 Mirage Drive system, twist and seal hatches, large bow hatch and a bungee covered rear tank well. All are easily accessible and add to the versatility of this sit on top kayak.
New upgrades, Such as the Vantage CT Seat allowing a much more comfortable ride with miltiple adjustments to make your time on the water as comfortable as can be. The 180 Mirage Drive now comes with 'Glide Technology' and to achieve this Hobie have put 5 sets of roller bearings in the moving parts of the Mirage Drive to enable the drive to be as smooth and efficient as possible. The 180 Mirage Drive also has the ability to switch into reverse by fully turning the blades underneath through 180 degrees at the simple pull of a toggle.
If you are into a spot of fishing, the Hobie Mirage Revolution 16 comes with fishing rod holders and plenty of space in the rear tank well for kit. Camping is no problem with the spacious bow hatch and rear tank well able to carry larger items, and the Hobie Revolution 16 is certainly comfortable enough for extended periods on the water around East Anglia.
The Hobie Revolution 16 comes with the Hobie 180 Mirage Drive System, Vantage CT seat system , paddle and rudder system, 2-piece fibergalss paddle. The Revolution 16 is even compatible with the Hobie sailing kit for those who want complete versatility and a new dimension to their kayaking enjoyment.
