RTM Tempo
The RTM Tempo is one of the best rough water sit on top kayaks on the market today, available in 2 specs, the Standard and Angler both of which cater to specific types of paddlers.
The RTM Tempo Standard is ideal for touring paddlers who like to paddle the fastest, most efficient sit on top touring kayaks. This narrow kayak gives great control thanks to its bucket style seating area which drops your centre of gravity low and gives an increased feel of hip control. While RTM Tempo doesn't come with a seat in either spec it can be used with a Feelfree Deluxe Seat for added comfort and back support. This kayak is just as at home on rivers, lakes and broads as it is on the sea and in some choppier surf conditions - in the right paddlers hands of course.
The RTM Tempo Angler takes all the above performance but adds in a couple of rear facing flush mounted rod holders to allow for trolling and easy storage of your fishing rods when paddling to your mark.
At 24kg the Tempo Angler and Tempo Standard is light enough to carry a fair distance as well as car top on your own with relative ease. The deck area on both spec sit on top kayaks is uncluttered, which allows you to outfit and modify the kayak with camera mounts, rod holders and fish finders to your own desire, or enjoy an open hassle free deck.
