Wavesport Recon
The Wave Sport Recon will see you down the river safely while performing at the highest levels of creeking, river trekking and class IV-V+ whitewater. The Recon has the ability, performance and feedback that will enhance your confidence and skill sets allowing you to safely push your boundaries.
With its continuous rocker profile combined with the unique distribution of volume, the Wave Sport Recon design is very fast and easy to boof. Its' unique volume in the bow and pronounced, upswept shape make the Recon resurface and unload water quickly when blasting through holes, while the domed stern deck minimizes back-ending in holes and drops. The location of the full stern chine combined with the generous side wall flare provides superb secondary stability and substantial control when carving, ferrying, and tracking. Wave Sport have also equipped the recon with seven points of rescue and strategically placed handles for greater accessibility.
The Wave Sport Recon was designed for intermediate and advanced paddlers who want that best in class performance with maximum safety features, for enjoying both multi-day river trips and tackling top class IV & V+ rapids.
Comfort and connectivity in the Recon are fantastic as it features the brilliant Core WhiteOut seating system and outfitting. This gives the paddler a great range of adjustability to optimise their connection with the kayak and get the most out of it when running that big volume whitewater.
